Clinical Supervision

A reflective space for creative therapists.

I offer clinical supervision for creative therapists and practitioners who value a relational, creative and reflective approach to their work.

Supervision provides a dedicated space to think about your practice, explore the therapeutic relationships you are working within, and reflect on what may be happening both within and around the therapeutic process.

My approach to supervision is informed by my experience as a Creative Art Psychotherapist, alongside my training in Systemic Practice and Family Therapy. I bring a relational and systemic perspective, considering not only the individual client and therapist, but also the wider relationships, organisations and systems that may be influencing the work.

A creative approach to supervision

Just as therapy does not always need to rely solely on words, neither does supervision. Where helpful, we can use creative and experiential approaches to explore aspects of your clinical work that may be difficult to access through conversation alone. This might include thinking visually, working with metaphor, using art materials or exploring embodied responses and relational dynamics. There is no expectation to work creatively in every session. The approach is responsive to you, your practice and what you bring to supervision.

Who I offer supervision to:

I offer clinical supervision to qualified creative therapists and practitioners whose work has a creative, relational or therapeutic focus.

I also welcome trainee creative therapists and offer a reduced supervision fee for trainees in recognition of the financial demands of professional training.

For trainees, supervision can provide space to develop confidence in your emerging professional identity, think through placement experiences, explore therapeutic relationships and connect theory with practice.

What we might explore:

Supervision can include reflection on client work, therapeutic relationships, boundaries and ethical considerations, creative processes, safeguarding, working within organisations and multidisciplinary systems, and the emotional impact of therapeutic work.

It can also be a space to recognise your own responses as a practitioner, remain curious about the work and support the development of a sustainable professional practice.

Supervision enquiries:

If you are looking for clinical supervision, you are welcome to get in touch to tell me a little about yourself, your professional background or training, and what you are looking for from supervision.
